Definitely a blast from the past: JP Houston’s Special Christmas Special. Low budget and full of xmas cheer! I was contacted by JP in the fall of 2006 completely out of the blue. He was putting together a Christmas special and wanted to do a sitar-flavored rendition of “We Three Kings”. Anyhow, I agreed and was brought into JP’s world. He’s a great guy and a great talent (I believe he’s in LA now??). Anyhow, it was during this recording that I really met Steve Smith and which led to my very temporary position as bassist in his drinking league band, Expo67. Which then led to my eventual introduction to Mr. Richard White and Bobby Fraser; two of the original members of Elephant Stone!
